American Underdog (2021): Movie Review

 American Underdog (2021): Movie Review

Plot: Some dreams become destiny.

The true story of Kurt Warner, who went from a stockboy at a grocery store to a two-time NFL MVP, Super Bowl champion, and Hall of Fame quarterback.

Review: Kurt Warner's career from college through his time in the NFL is the subject of the true-life story American Underdog, which served as the basis for the film.

Kurt Warner always envisioned himself as an NFL quarterback while growing up in Iowa, but he was constantly pegged as the underdog.

Kurt struggled to get an opportunity to show how excellent of a quarterback he could become because he came from a smaller institution and had little chance of making it in the NFL.

The film recounts Kurt Warner's career from college to his journey to the NFL. It is an underdog story, just like many sports movies.

Kurt Warner's journey to the NFL was not an easy one. He had to follow a difficult, rarely successful road.

Despite having a distinctive plot of its own, American Underdog closely adheres to the format used in many other sports and football movies.

To be honest, I think it's a good football movie that fans of the genre will truly appreciate.

FLOPS: The one thing that seems off is the ages of the actors, a 40yr-old playing the role of a 20-year-old.
