Me Time (2022): Movie Review

 Me Time (2022): Movie Review

Plot: This is not what he had in mind.

With his family away, a devoted stay-at-home dad enjoys his first me time in years by joining his hard-partying old friend on a wild birthday adventure.

Review: Sonny Fisher and Huck are shown in the first sequence of the movie poised to jump off a precipice.

Unfortunately, Sonny refuses to go along with it because he's afraid, and when he does, he falls. Huck then jumps to save him.

The movie then jumps to the present, where Sonny is revealed to be a househusband whose wife Maya supports the family financially.

Sonny handles all household duties, including caring for the children and cleaning the house.

Sonny continues to express his love for being a stay-at-home dad while socializing with  other parents.

She proposes he take some time off while she looks after the children because she is aware that his being with the children all the time leaves him with no time to be alone.

Although he is apprehensive about spending his leisure time with a group of 20-year-olds, he chooses to spend some time with his old friend Huck.

He embarks on an adventurous journey and even prevails in a conflict with a wild animal. Even though many of the surprising events in this adventure do not fit with his current demeanor, he succeeds in most of them and is praised and adored as a primitive man.
