Thor: Love and Thunder (2022): Movie Review
Plot: The one is not the only.
After his retirement is interrupted by Gorr the God Butcher, a galactic killer who seeks the extinction of the gods, Thor Odinson enlists the help of King Valkyrie, Korg, and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who now wields Mjolnir as the Mighty Thor. Together they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher's vengeance and stop him before it's too late.
Review: Thor: Love and Thunder is the fourth franchise in the Thor series.
In the opening scene of the most recent Thor, a dust-covered Gorr and his daughter are shown stumbling through a desolate, sun-drenched desert in quest of food.
Sadly, the child dies soon after, drawing his last breath in his father's arms, unable to withstand the harsh weather.
Gorr, who is mourning the loss of his child, journeys deep into the dustbowl in response to a strange, inaudible voice, following which he is led to a lush oasis.
There, we witness the character's destiny quickly change into something more sinister as he transforms into Gorr the deity Butcher.
The movie also shows Thor looking for peace within himself and throughout the galaxy.
Gorr the god butcher, who is attempting to wipe off the gods, however, foils his plans and deters him from continuing on his mission.
Thor went back to Asgard to ask King Valkyrie and Korg for assistance, only to find that Jane Foster had appeared and was battling as "The Mighty Thor" while brandishing his old hammer Mjolnir.
Thor: Love and Thunder is considerably different from the other Thor films, yet it is still an exciting, hilarious, and romantic trip filled with emotion.
