"Women empowerment scheme": Reactions As Ooni of Ife marries another wife, Princess Ronke



The Ooni of Ife has again tied the knot for the fifth time, days after marrying His 3rd and 4th wife




The wedding ceremony of Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II and Princess Ronke Ademiluyi held on Thursday, 20th October 2022




Reports states that Osun State is currently on a shutdown as their Monarch ties the knot for a fifth time.




Photos and videos from the traditional wedding ceremony has also made it’s way to the internet.





In videos making rounds, the beautiful bride could be seen entering the hall in grand style as the Ooni’s chiefs ask for her hand in marriage.





As with his previous weddings, the Ooni was nowhere in sight.




The royal guards and maids, palace chiefs and royal staff were there to represent the Yoruba monarch.




Meanwhile it is said that Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, who is now the 5th wife of the Ooni, has known the King before he ascended throne in 2015.




The London trained lawyer is a very well known entrepreneur who shuttled between the UK and Nigeria.




Ronke is the founder of the popular fashion showcase platforms, the AFWN & AFWL franchises.




As a prince then, the now Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi’s company, was one of the major sponsors of the ‘Africa Fashion Week Nigeria’




Also the fashion showcase platform founded by Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, who is a single mother of one.




As a princess in Ile Ife, Ronke’s great-grandfather was Ooni Ademiluyi Ajagun.




Moreover, she is in charge of the Queen Moremi Initiative; a global ambassador and founder of the Adire Odua.




Her wedding to the Ooni comes up three days after his 48th birthday on October 17.



Social media users have reacted differently to the news about the king taking his 5th wife in less than a week.

Why Mohbad Neck Was Bent Inside Casket – Coffin Maker

Coffin Maker in charge of Mohbad coffin has finally revealed why the late singer’s neck was in a bent position inside the casket. Mohbad the “Peace” crooner died on September 12th 2023 and by extension was laid to rest on September 13th 2023 in Ikorodu, Lagos. Singer Wizkid’s Mother set for burial

Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun, the late mother of superstar singer, Wizkid will be laid to rest on October 13, 2023. She died at around 1.30 a.m. on Friday, August 18th. However, the family of late Dolapo Balogun disclosed the details of her burial ceremony on Sunday, October, 8th. In a flyer seen on social media showed the funeral arrangements of the deceased who will have a wake keep and tribute night on Thursday, 12th October, 2023. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, 13th October at RCCG City of David, Victoria Island, Lagos. The deceased is survived by her husband Alhaji M.O Balogun; her four children, Yetunde Balogun, Omolara Balogun, Olubusayo Balogun, and Ayodeji Balogun, and her grandchildren. Two months after her death, the deceased is set to be buried in grand style as arrangements for her burial are already in top gear.
