Black Adam (2022): Movie Review
Plot: The world needed a hero. It got Black Adam.
Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods and imprisoned just as quickly-Black Adam is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.
Review: Teth-Adam, a supreme being portrayed by Dwayne Johnson, saves the nation of Kahdaq.
However, he has been buried in a holy mountain for ages, and in that time, enemies have pillaged his nation.
Adrianna, who is ostensibly some sort of scholar, reawakens Teth-Adam.
The Justice Society has been sent to stop Adam in the meanwhile by Viola Davis.
NOTE: The movie does a wonderful job of broadening the DCEU by presenting fresh faces and settings.
HITS: The movie hardly slows down from the start to the finish. It is packed with action and features both humor and darkness.
FLOPS: The films continue to draw criticism because audiences want more from the DC EU; I hope to see improvement in their upcoming movie.
