Basketmouth’s Wife Breaks Silence After 12 Years Marriage Collapsed




The Instagram post of Elsie, the wife of Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has sparked reactions online.





The post came hours after her husband announced the end of their 12-year-old union.





Recall that the humour merchant took Nigerians by surprise after taking to his verified Instagram page on Thursday to announce the end of their 12 years of marriage.





The caption of the text as posted by Basketmouth reads: “As much as it pains me to bring my personal life to the public space, this is an unavoidable situation. After much deliberation, my wife and have made the difficult decision to end our marriage. As we move forward separately, we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, love, guidance and support they need. We humbly ask that you respect our privacy as we navigate through these times Thank you.”





Basketmouth called for privacy at the moment as he also made it clear that he wouldn’t be revisiting the matter after his announcement.





Elsie could be said to have carried on as she recently published a post on her page, giving relationship tips to fellow women. She referenced an argument about women cooking for men during dating stages and she discussed how it shouldn’t be such a big deal.





She noted that the important thing is for a woman to know her limit and that the guy in question is not taking advantage of her.





Elsie added that no matter what a lady chooses to do or not, it won’t influence the decision of a guy when choosing a partner for marriage.

Coffin Maker in charge of Mohbad coffin has finally revealed why the late singer’s neck was in a bent position inside the casket. Singer Wizkid’s Mother set for burial

Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun, the late mother of superstar singer, Wizkid will be laid to rest on October 13, 2023. She died at around 1.30 a.m. on Friday, August 18th. However, the family of late Dolapo Balogun disclosed the details of her burial ceremony on Sunday, October, 8th. In a flyer seen on social media showed the funeral arrangements of the deceased who will have a wake keep and tribute night on Thursday, 12th October, 2023. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, 13th October at RCCG City of David, Victoria Island, Lagos. The deceased is survived by her husband Alhaji M.O Balogun; her four children, Yetunde Balogun, Omolara Balogun, Olubusayo Balogun, and Ayodeji Balogun, and her grandchildren. Two months after her death, the deceased is set to be buried in grand style as arrangements for her burial are already in top gear.
