Reaction As Queen Tobi Finally Reveals How She Met and Married Ooni of Ife

Olori Tobi Phillips, the third wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi has finally opened up on how she met the monarch.

In an interview with TVC ‘Your View’ on Thursday, December 15th, Olori Tobi Phillips, revealed that she was devastated when she couldn’t get married to the Ooni because of some interference.

According to her, a mutual friend had introduced her to the monarch, and their chemistry kicked off.

However, the two couldn’t get married at that time because of many interference, which was quite devastating.

In what seems like a message to those who believe she is with the monarch for money, Olori Tobi stated that she told herself she was going to marry for love.

She always promised herself that she will marry for love, hence, why she accepted to be the King’s third wife.

Olori Tobi added that she saw some values in the monarch, which she has always wanted her future husband to have.

“Someone called me one day and said, “Do you want to get married? And he asked if I wanted to get married to the Ooni.

He introduced me to the Ooni. At first, I didn’t take it seriously because I was like, ‘what’s going on’.

Then we met and started dating, but there was so many interference and we didn’t get married. That was quite devastating.

I always promised myself that I will marry someone that I love. There are values that I love in a man and the Ooni has that”.

Just days back, Queen Tobi Phillips, had recounted how she waited for 8 years before eventually getting to become Queen.

Sharing some beautiful photos of herself and the Royal father to mark the new month, Tobi Phillips disclosed that it had been quite a ride but God has been faithful.

“Happy New Month From His Imperial Majesty Ooni Adeyeye Eniitan Ogunwusi Ojaja Keji and Her Royal Majesty Queen Tobi Phillips-Ogunwusi.

It’s been quite a Ride, and we give God All The Glory and Adorations Because All Power Belongs to God Almighty.

For about 7-8years I consistently wished that @timidakolo would Sing the “Iyawo Mi” Song at my Wedding, and here we are.

Thank You So Much Kabiyesi Mi @ooniadimulaife for making it happen. E Pe Fun Wa L’ase Eledumare. Cheers To A New Life.” Queen Tobi Phillips concluded.
