US Star, Meek Mill Loses Phone To Pickpockets In Ghana

American rapper, Robert Rihmeek Williams, known professionally as Meek Mill, has reportedly lost his phone to thieves in Ghana.

He announced this in a post via his Instagram Stories on Friday.

“They pickpocketed me for my phone SMH… Bring that Jawn back if you got it!!!,” he wrote.

Mill is currently in the West African country for the Afronation concert where he’s a headline artiste alongside Nigerian musicians Burna Boy and Asake.

He has been spotted cruising on the streets of Ghana while partaking in motorcycle stunts.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the rapper embarked on his music career as a battle rapper, and later formed a short-lived rap group, The Bloodhoundz.

In October 2012, Mill announced the launch of his own label imprint, Dream Chasers Records, named after his mixtape series.

He released his second album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, in 2015 and his third album, Wins & Losses, in 2016.

In November 2017, he was sentenced to two to four years in prison for violating parole, before being released while his trial continued after serving five months.
