Actress Aunty Ramota: Why I Remain Unmarried

Media sensation and Nollywood actress, Ramota Adeoti better known as Aunty Ramota has revealed that she is still unmarried because the character of men is displeasing to her. The Yoruba actress in an interview with Ijebu, shared her encounter with Jesus Christ on her sick bed. According to her, the last time she was sick, she saw Jesus in her dream and he was the one who woke her up. Aunty Ramota recounted how many believed she was on the brink of death during her recent illness when in reality, she was only grappling with typhoid fever. She said: “I don’t have a husband and I used to like men, but their characters and behaviours aren’t pleasing to me. “The last time I was sick, people said I was almost dead and I had eaten something, meanwhile it was Typhoid. “I called on the name of Jesus and He answered me. He was the one who brought me back to life. “It was the Jesus I saw in my dream that made it possible for me to wake up.”

Nigerian controversial singer, Portable has cried out to Nigerians after landing in the hospital following being beaten by his colleagues. The Nigerian Police, through its Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Alagbon, in Ikoyi, Lagos State, have disclosed that duo of Oyeabuchi Daniel Okafor and Jasmine Chioma Okekeagwu, arrested for conspiring and defrauding Mr. John Ikechukwu Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu of the sum of N55 million, had conducted a sham marriage and ready to escape from the country as a couple. According to a statement by the FCID on Thursday, the suspects had had a sham marriage at Ikoyi registry and were waiting for their UK visa to escape from the country before their arrest. “It was also established that the two suspects, Jasmine Chioma Okekeagwu and Onyeabuchi Daniel Okafor had a sham marriage at the Ikoyi Marriage Registry with plans to escape from the country to UK where they intended to settle with their proceeds of crime. In a series of posts on his Instagram story, he revealed that some men allegedly stormed his house to beat him mercilessly after failing to perform at a show he was paid for. The controversial singer revealed that he had been rushed to the hospital as he was in pain. He admitted that the people really did him bad, but he is grateful that he has God. Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has been added to the performer lineup for the 2024 Grammys. The ‘African Giant’ crooner was announced alongside Luke Combs and Travis Scott on Monday morning by the Recording Academy. “Attention: African Giant @BurnaBoy will take the #GRAMMYs stage on Sunday, February 4th at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT on @CBS,” the Grammy organisers wrote on their X handle. Other performers earlier announced include Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, and Dua Lipa. Actress Toyin Abraham Arrests Five for sharing, posting 'Malaika' movie on social media

The Lagos police command has arrested five suspects, including two women, over the alleged piracy of ‘Malaika’, a movie produced by Toyin Abraham. ‘Malaika’ premiered in Lagos on December 17. It also made its theatrical debut on December 22. NAN reports that Aminat Mayegun, the spokesperson at the Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Alagbon in Ikoyi, Lagos, paraded the suspects on Tuesday. Mayegun said the suspects were allegedly involved in the conspiracy, infringement on intellectual property, piracy, and cyber-related crimes with the unlawful utilisation of cyberspace to broadcast the movie. The spokesperson said a criminal complaint was lodged by Abraham and Seun Olayemi, the co-producer of the movie. Nigerian street-pop artist, Habeeb Badmus, aka Portable, has rejected Nollywood actor, Charles Okocha’s call for a rematch refusing to hand over the belt. Okocha was defeated by Portable in a Heritage Boxing Entertainment celebrity bout on Tuesday night at Landmark Beach, Oniru, near Victoria Island, Lagos. Following four rounds of action, Portable was declared the winner by the referee. Okocha described their boxing bout as rigged, saying that Portable removed his boxing gloves in the third round, an action that should have led to immediate disqualification.
