Spyro: 'I Wish I Had Found Love Before Now'

Nigerian singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, said he regrets not finding love before hitting stardom. He said it is currently difficult for him to find love because he is unsure of who genuinely loves him. Speaking in a recent chat with Drip Check, Spyro said: “I wish I had found love before now. As a celebrity, you are scared because you don’t even know who loves you for what you are or who you are.” On his ideal woman, the ‘Who’s Your Guy’ crooner said: “I am attracted to intelligence. So when I talk to a woman that is not giving me that vibe, I have a big problem with that.” Spyro said he has been unlucky in relationships because he always put his career before his relationship.

I Am Quitting Music: Nigerian, Singer Vic O Declares

Nigerian hip-hop star Vic O has announced his retirement from the music industry. The rapper said he is quitting music because Nigerians don’t deserve him. Speaking in a video message shared via his Instagram page recently, Vic O lamented the lack of support from fans and low patronage from show organisers. He said he deserves better than what he gets from Nigerians. He captioned the video, “I’ve decided to quit music cause Nigerians don’t deserve me!”

Crossdresser Bobrisky Sentenced to prison without fine over Naira abuse

  Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos has sentenced cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, to six months in jail with no option of fine.  The judgement was handed on Friday morning, April 12.   Recall that on April 5th, EFCC arraigned Bobrisky in court on a six-count charge ranging from Abuse of the Naira and Money laundering. The court, however, dismissed the money laundering charges but convicted him for Naira Abuse after he confessed to the crime. The court also ordered that he be remanded in EFCC detention in Lagos   The judge then adjourned hearing for judgement into the case to April 9. However, the court couldn't sit due to the April 9 to April 11 Eid-Fitri public holiday.

Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, has declared today, Thursday as “No Shoot Day” for all Nollywood filmmakers, following the death of actor, Junior Pope and three other crew members who died in a boat mishap on Anam River in Anambra on Wednesday. Emeka Rollas, National President of AGN, in a statement on Thursday said that this happened while producing a movie titled ‘’The other side of Life’’, produced by Adamma Luke. “Following the tragic incident of a boat mishap that claimed the life of Junior Pope and three other crew members at waterside of River Niger Cable point Asaba on 10th of April, all films that involve riverine areas and boat riding are hereby suspended indefinitely. “No Shoot on all locations nationwide on Thursday, 11th April, 2024, and the film titled “The other side of Life” is suspended indefinitely. “Also, no actor is allowed to work with Adamma Luke as a producer till further notice, while we keep searching for the bodies of the remaining persons. “May their souls rest
