Afrobeats sensation David Adedeji Adeleke and his fiancee Chioma Avril Rowland have reportedly lost their 3-year-old son Ifeanyi Adedeji Adeleke Jr. The sad news broke on Monday night, October 31, 2022, barely weeks after the celebration of the little boy’s 3rd birthday. According to reports, Ifeanyi died by drowning at Davido’s Banana Island home. He was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Davido and Chioma had traveled for a family gathering to lbadan yesterday and had left Ifeanyi with his minders who can’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned. A distraught and inconsolable Davido was removed from Evercare Hospital and taken to his father’s house where he remains presently. There is indeed trouble in paradise for Nigerian rapper and singer, Skales and his Wife,  Precious. The Borno Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old housewife, Fatima Abubakar, for allegedly killing her husband, Goni Abbah with poison.  The Commissioner Of Police, Mr Abdu Umar, who disclosed this to the News men in Maiduguri, on Sunday, October 30, said that the suspect was arrested on October 19 by men of the Command at Anguwan Doki. Umar said that the victim, who was the Chief Imam of the area, returned from the mosque when the suspect, who was the second wife, allegedly mixed poison in his food.   The CP explained that as soon as Goni started eating, his condition deteriorated.   According to him, the victim was immediately rushed to the State Specialist Hospital where he was given emergency medical attention,  but unfortunately, he later died when they returned home.   The commisioner of Police immediately deployed men of the  Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department to arrest the suspect after the incident was reported by the family of the victim at the GRA Police S

A middle-aged man has allegedly committed suicide in South Africa after he found out that his child was fathered by someone else. Twitter user, Mo Magoda, who shared the deceased’s story on the microblogging site, said he discovered that he is not the biological father of his 10-year-old daughter after seeing court documents. The 42-year-old man saw the DNA test results and court documents sent to his wife by his daughter’s real father. The biological father was demanding access and custody of the child, so he served the woman court papers after filing a case to take over guardianship. The heartbroken man and his wife have been married for 13 years and he never suspected any foul play. Head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis has admitted that Catholic Priests and nuns watch internet porn. Speaking with seminarians in Rome on Monday, October 26, Pope Francis stated that internet porn was a ‘vice’ shared between members of the church. ‘It is a vice that many people have, many laymen, many laywomen, and also priests and nuns,’ said the 85-year-old Pope. ‘The Devil gets in that way. Kaduna commissioner for human services and social development, Hafsat Baba, has revealed that women giving their daughters to bandits for money. Baba said this on Wednesday at the 22nd meeting of the National Council on Women Affairs held in Abuja. Speaking as a panellist on girl child development and school safety, the commissioner said parents who offer their daughters as house-helps and hawkers are contributing to the rate of out-of-school girls in the country. According to the data from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), 60 percent of the over 10 million out-of-school children in Nigeria are girls. Recording artist, songwriter and music executive Robert Louis Gordy Sr. has died at the age of 91. Prominent Hollywood talent agency, CAA, has stopped representing Kanye West amid a growing call to boycott the rapper. The remains of reality TV star and singer, Patrick Adebowale Fakoya better known by his nickname, Rico Swavey, has been laid to rest in Lagos. Recall that the 29-year-old Big Brother Naija star was involved in a fatal car crash on Tuesday, October 11, and sadly passed away on Thursday, October 13, from the injuries he sustained. A service of songs and night of tribute was held in his honour in Victoria Island on Wednesday, October 19, and many of his colleagues were in attendance. His burial procession took place the following day in Lagos as well. A funeral mass was held for him at the Methodist Church of the Trinity, Tinubu Square, and then his remains was moved to the Ebony Vaults, Ikoyi, Lagos, where he was laid to rest.
