In a video he shared on his Instagram page, Speed Darlington noted that the church has been constantly disturbing his peace with “their noise”. Popular Nigerian rapper, Olamide Adedeji, better known professionally as Olamide, has stated that Lagos pastors are ‘cashing out’ after witnessing a traffic surge on Sunday morning. Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has taken to social media to open up about her health challenges in the past few weeks. Teni recalled how she initially thought she could be pregnant due to her reluctance to eat or socialize. The singer described the struggles she had while battling her health in a video she posted on her Instagram account on Friday. She was unwell and sad at the same time during that period. THE human rights lawyer in a statement on Friday disagreed with the police spokesman about use of police uniforms.   Human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong has tackled the police over its statement saying that the use of police uniform by skit maker, Abdulgafar Ahmad, aka Cute Abiola is illegal.   Reacting, Effiong said using police uniform for entertainment is not illegal.   Recall that Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, had on Thursday, said the comedian would be prosecuted for violating the provisions of the law “with regards to the use of uniforms”.   But the human rights lawyer in a statement on Friday disagreed with the police spokesman, saying “entertainers use military and police uniforms globally for their art and craft”. “Using ‘police uniform’ in a skit for the purpose of entertainment cannot by itself bring contempt on that uniform. “In any event, if what’s demonstrated in the skit is a true reflection of what the police is known for, you will have a hard time

THE Nigeria Police force says it will be investigating and possibly prosecuting comedian Abdulgafar Abiola, popularly known as "Cute Abiola," over the disrespectful use of police uniforms in two skits he posted on social media on July 20 and July 24.   In a statement released today July 27, the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said the skits in question ‘’show a highly disrespectful and derogatory portrayal of the police uniform, an action that is in direct violation of Section 251 of the Criminal Code and Section 133 of the Penal Code Law''. Veteran Nollywood actress Cynthia Okereke has died. Popular actor and filmmaker Joseph Okechukwu announced her tragic demise in an Instagram post on Wednesday, July 12. According to him, she passed away on the evening of Tuesday, July 11 at the age of 63. He revealed that he had planned to pay for Okereke’s flight ticket to America before her untimely death. In a video shared on her Instagram page, Bold Pink specifically addressed Davido’s legal wife, Chioma Adeleke, offering her advice on how to handle the situation and stop the crooner from cheating. Bold suggested that Chioma should employ a lawyer to draft a comprehensive and legally binding contract.
