Three of Asake’s songs appeared in the top 10 list of the most streamed tracks on Spotify in Nigeria. His ‘Lonely at the Top’ earned its place at the very top; ‘2:30’ finished fourth; and ‘Amapiano,’ with Olamide, finished 10th. THE Lagos Coroner Court sitting at Ita-Elewa, Ikorodu on Wednesday, November 22, said that the most crucial aspect of an autopsy to determine the cause of death of late music star, Ilerioluwa (Promise) Aloba aka Mohbad, is being conducted in the United States of America (USA).   The Nation reports that the state counsel, O. Akinde told the Coroner Magistrate, Adetayo Shotobi, that the autopsy into the external body of the deceased has been completed.   “The toxicology test, which has to do with the internal body, is being done in the US,” he said   Akinde made this known following the insistence of other counsel to the father of the deceased, David Fadimu, that of TNKay Music Worldwide, David Nawoola, and representative of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Ikorodu, O.S.A. Aranmolaran.   The Coroner, Magistrate Shotobi, asked to know why the toxicology was taken abroad when there are toxicology laboratories in Nigeria.

Collins Enebeli Ajereh, the father of famous Nigerian record producer and music executive, Don Jazzy, has revealed that he is not pressurizing his 40-year-old son to get married. He said Don Jazzy had been married before but he and his estranged wife decided to go their separate ways. The singer of “Zazzo” took to social media to publicly criticise the artist and question him about why he decided to give up on his musical career. He became even more irate as he continued, accusing Samklef of having a poor character and being rejected by both Davido and WizKid. He claimed to have watched Samklef online and was aware of his bad belle status as he urged his followers to warn the music producer to steer clear of his path. A popular Brazilian singer, Darlyn Morais, has been confirmed dead after he was bitten by a spider. According to Daily Mail, the complications from being bitten in the face by a spider led to the death of the 28-year-old singer. Morais had fallen ill after he was bitten by a spider at his home in the northeastern city of Miranorte on October 31. The singer’s 18-year-old stepdaughter also suffered a spider bite and is currently hospitalised. Morais’ wife, Jhullyenny Lisboa told Brazilian news outlet G1 that the stepdaughter was in a stable condition.
